FWIW, someone made a very good point yesterday and it should probably be reiterated so those considering understand the implications of hiring the new boss.
Someone or someone(s) where buying last week. There was no news, no catalyst and nothing pending except the anticipated release of Rico; and who knows when that drops? However, people were buying.
Is it fair to think that there were some that were in the know about this impending change and they were aware of the background and credentials of Dr. Jones?
The selling can more than likely be linked to the sexy pick heading out the door with his connections and media attention. Perhaps even some of his students or friends buying in who showed their weak hands once news of RCs departure hit? Knee-jerk reactions from those that really didn't buy for the sector and long-run, but for the name only. Bad investment strategy in my book.
However, many were buying and buying hard. If they knew something was up with this change and knew Jones was heading in and had something to bring to the table that was just as big as what Calkin could bring, like, oh maybe, agricultural, perhaps we'll see substantially improved communication and dedication and the direction we are all hoping for finally come to realization.
I just have a feeling something bigger is in the long range plan and some got wind of what that plan entails. Maybe its just a BS conspiracy theory, but its what I'm banking on.
