2.25 looks like good support. If you look at the chart is spent a couple of weeks building steam down there but never busted through. The only thing is that you will have raised your cost average if you decide to buy 2.75 and your break even will be a little higher.
That is why I generally do not add to a position if it increases my average, and focus on deep pullbacks. This is a biotech stock after all, and it lives and dies by FDA approvals so knowing nothing about it's products just be aware that you can have speculation ahead of an event and then it can go either way.
With regards to pennies, I'm not liking what I'm seeing in penny land. It's fun to play because of the big swings, but should not be a big part of your portfolio.
I think that the season is over right now for most penny stocks and the speculation is better in the spring time than the winter time. I've got one penny holding, TECO, and that's it. This is the last month of the year to print profits and I'm focusing on my bread and butter, day trading and swing trading.
If you ever look at the Fortune top 100 richest people in the world, you will never see any penny stock traders.
