I'll offer an opinion on that, but it's not directed at you, just the subject matter of your post.

If all of us here just say to hell with it and never go back, the board is now just a bunch of clowns bashing and trying to out due each other, further making total fools of themselves, plus nobody will believe their BS anyway.

So then a newb hears about BLTA, checks out the board and sees nothing but negativity, thinking, "I need to find a better place for DD and discussion with substantive value. I need to Google BLTA message boards and see what's out there, vs trying to fit in with a bunch of loony tunes."

Do you think they might find us?

I did this exact thing when using Yahoo & Raging Bull ages ago for EDIG and found exactly what I was looking for, without a single basher.

We do have some new folks joining us, and it's guys like emit & myself recruiting at another place.

I also see the other side as you point out, but no amount of positive thought posted there will change the flavor of that board. All it does is give them something to say in opposition to factual info, to include making up wild ass lies and hope it sticks.

I've dropped comments there now and then, but don't feel I'm accomplishing a darn thing.

What do people think about my thoughts?
