Yeraskh (Armenian: Երասխ, also Romanized as Eraskh; formerly, Arazdayan) is a town in the Ararat Province of Armenia. Yeraskh is the last town in Armenia at the border with Nakhichevan on what used to be the main road and rail connections between Nakhichevan and Azerbaijan proper. The rail line also was the only direct connection between the former USSR and Iran.

What you need to understand this place is near 3rd world country conditions and not the US where their priorities are what to eat or what to dress or where to go to party. how nice their websites are. They're just trying to survive. The whole Ararat region is basically about making Brandy, Wine and fruit flavored liquors! and there are lots of them. There's plenty of supply and they've making the stuff for thousands of years. Since it's so remote and poor the world doesn't know about these products and their quality. as proven by the purchase of one of the wineries by the french company Pernod Ricard.
