On December 18th, the Company issued a press release detailing the increased demand for precious stones, in particular diamonds and emeralds. With this realization, Britannia Mining identified an opportunity to broaden their Commodities Trading Division, and immediately leveraged key suppliers and other relationships, allowing the Company to trade emeralds and diamonds.
In early December, BMIN was eying a huge opportunity with two of the most valuable luxury commodities in the world. Then, BMIN’s management worked to fulfill orders from active buyers in Europe, while negotiating with renowned diamond suppliers and traders in Miami and New York.
The big news happened in late December!!
On December 22nd, Britannia Mining announced its initial Diamond Transaction. BMIN had made its initial shipment of raw, uncut diamonds to a U.S. based international inspection facility. This single contract initiated the anticipated estimate of $1.2 Million in profits. At the same time, other contracts are lining up!
Industry insiders and professionals say this first transaction could project an annual gross turnover of up to $12 Million.
How will Britannia Mining earn their cut?
As a commodity distributor, BMIN’s earnings are based on a percentage of each transaction. Considering this is the first of several, multi-million dollar contracts that have been announced, Britannia's commodities' trading division experts are anticipating considerable value added to the Company's 2015 revenues.
