(((ABronchstein~~ just sharing)))
Given the recent rumors of a potential Vegas grow for CEN Bio or FITX, I wanted to share some information so that everyone can get up to speed.
First, there is nothing that I have found that directly connects FITX. Instead, at least at this point, there are connections only to Bill Chaaban and to Randy Hamdan, who have established LLCs in Nevada that own GBS Holdings, which apparently has production and cultivation licenses in North Las Vegas but failed to get a dispensary license.
What is GBS Holdings?
On July 1st, GBS Holdings, a limited-liability company, f iled with the state of Nevada . The officers consist of two other LLCs, including Bio One Ventures and Rump Ventures.
Bio One Ventures was created on June 27th and is controlled by Randy Hamdan, a financier of FITX. Rump Ventures , also set up on June 27th, is controlled by Chaaban.
North Las Vegas License Applications
On October 14th, the City Council of North Las Vegas met in a special meeting to discuss the applications. Here is the complete summary . Desert Green Farms, Desert Green Infusions and Desert Green Medical Cannabis were agenda items 62-64, each receiving approval subject to conditions. In each case, the application was submitted by GBS Holdings, LLC on behalf of Speedway 18.44 LLC , property owner, which is managed by Kevin J. Higgins of Las Vegas.
The State of Nevada lists all of the cultivation facility , production facility and dispensary applications by local jurisdiction. The state allowed applicants to be anonymous on these lists, but one can see that all of the cultivation and production applicants in North Las Vegas received provisional licenses. This page indicates that there were only 4 dispensaries licenses awarded by the state, and they were all named (and not GBS). It's not clear if the 4 that were awarded dispensary provisional licenses by the state also received local approval, but, at least for now, there is no way to get a license if one didn't make the preliminary cut by the state. Even if there possible that an applicant below the top 4 is able to attain a license, it's unlikely that GBS would be one, as there are 9 ranked dispensaries that are named and that are not GBS.
Conclusion
At this point, I can find only preliminary information. It is clear that an entity controlled by Randy Hamdan and Bill Chaaban appears to have obtained licenses to grow and process marijuana in North Las Vegas under the new Nevada MMJ program (assuming that they met the conditions imposed by North Las Vegas. What's not clear is how this could relate to FITX shareholders. Chaaban, by the way, is listed as the manager of several other Nevada-based entities ( link ):
