Newton, MA / ACCESSWIRE / October 28, 2014 / Ambient Corporation announced today that on September 30, 2014 it completed the sale of substantially all of its assets to Ericsson Inc. for an aggregate purchase price of $7,500,000 and the assumption of certain of Ambient's unsecured liabilities. Completion of the purchase followed a hearing held on September 26, 2014 at which the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware overseeing Ambient's Chapter 11 approved the transaction. All of Ambient employees were offered employment with Ericsson.
