To support the rapidly expanding number of devices and high volume of traffic traveling across enterprise networks, Qualcomm Atheros is delivering technology that enables sophisticated access points (APs) to take advantage of state-of-the-art Wi-Fi® connectivity and improve network security, capacity and performance, while staying well within established power-over-Ethernet (PoE) limits. The new reference design includes the powerful, yet efficient Qualcomm® Internet Processor (IPQ) and the revolutionary features of the Qualcomm® VIVE™ 11ac solutions with MU-MIMO technology, also known as Qualcomm® MU | EFX.
