There are no fee's to upgrade to Pink Current. You are having difficulty understanding what the Electronic Quotation System is and I completely understand because it's been a difficult subject for many investors through the years. I've tried to explain it to you but it doesn't seem to be working. Don't know what else to tell you other than:
It's nothing more than a company (OTC) that owns a computer and charges a fee to a broker-dealer for using the computer for transacting business. The business the broker-dealer transacts is of quoting companies share prices on the computer. OTC does not charge fees to the companies because they don't do business with companies. They only do business with broker-dealers and people/companies that want to subscribe to the service.
Anyone that told you that OTC deals directly with public companies is tremendously incorrect. OTC does not do business with publicly traded companies. They are not a stock exchange. You're free to research FINRA and the SEC to better understand these facts. Goodluck.
