Cost and lack of awareness of how otc and the penn
Post# of 9122
companies dont understand the hidden costs of NOT upgrading- 1 of those costs is a very limited investor pool (core longs only) and a negative buy sell ratio/ targeting by shorters which results in longterm pps slippage -
i've discussed even more egregious costs of not upgrading before -so most co's dont have the necessary info to make the right cost benefit analysis re otc status/upgrading or uplisting- since they arent aware of the costs of not upgrading-
otc forces most co's to upgrade to current in unpleasant ways when they transition to significant revenue so its best if the co's take the initiative to upgrade before otc forces them to and slaps co's w significant penalties and a long gauntlet for not doing so
and i understand companies ignorance re this because they arent in the market business, they dont have time to study the penny market, havent yet been slapped with a ce, and most penny co's have no understanding of the market
i'm not in any way attacking the co nor have i ever done so in saying these things -I'm talking about systemic realities almost all penny co's are ignorant of until they are slapped by otc w penalties and a nightmare gauntlet they could never imagine-something i'm still personally experiencing in another stock because the political powers that be have targed low classes of otc for destruction without constitutional due process and so far nobody has been able to do anything about it-so once otc says time is up sec dtc and others jump on board the penalty bandwagon
as always i say these things to educate stockholders and the co for their protection against unpleasant surprises in the brave new penny world after sept 2009
