Alteva, flush with cash from cashing in their investment late last year, now has almost no debt - and recently (August) announced a designated stock repurchase amount of $3M. With today's prices this is roughly 430k shares. As of October, by their own statement, they had not used these funds.
Immediately after paying off their debt, they received the $8/share buyout offer. This company is quite healthy, with positive net income and revenue growth.
However, recently this low volume stock (float less than 5M shares) has had some unusual activity. Typically late in the day when the stock is below 7 there will be a series of purchases cleaning out the Sellers. The (at least) 3 days this has happened could easily be the repurchase funds, which would mean they have now bought about 50k shares.
We aren't far from book value, with a forward PE between 1-2, if you can be patient (1-2 yrs) this will likely be a multibagger.
