Pool Status Update – Christmas Operational Changes

We are taking the opportunity through the quieter Christmas period to make some operation changes before Jan comes around.
Last 30 Days:
1) The pool has been functioning well with quick normalization of hash rates.
2) Upstream providers have been stable with high uptime and quick transit.
3) Stats have essentially been completed with the block find stats having just wrapped up. We are very proud of the coding and system architecture designed around serving up lots of data to lots of people. We will continue to make enhancements to this system in the new year.
4) The redundant coast to coast nodes have proven themselves well. We will be adding more machines in the coming weeks.
5) We have created a system to roll out new edge nodes at global points in a very short time. This should be a real time saver as we expand.
6) Using this new setup we successfully rolled out a new test node in Tokyo and one in Singapore.
On Deck:
1) Json data containing all stats info and pool data will be made available to anyone. This is part of our transparency initiative.
2) Additional improvements to the mining software.
3) Rolling out of additional servers for increased resiliency.
Coming up the tech team has been told to prepare for:
1) A power build out. Quotes have been received.
2) Rack deployments and server deployments.
3) Internal network enhancements at the facility to handle increased number of machines.
