$GDGI Microguard™: Is a patented anti-corrosion maintenance coating that prevents corrosion on most metal surfaces, licensed to the Company for sales to Cool-n-Save Commercial customers. The primary component of the coating is inorganic silica. A catalyst allows the silica to form a durable microlayer on aluminum, copper and most painted surfaces that inhibit oxidization. The coating requires professional application. The coating was developed by a NASA chemist who created the coatings that now protect the Statue of Liberty and the launching gantries used in all space launch facilities in the U.S. Microguard has a catalog of 11 years of laboratory and field testing. The Company currently offers Microguard to its commercial customers as an optional service.
