These guys are going down one way or another whether financially or jail time! Some might receive calls from the FBI asking for their assistance as long shareholders. I've been involved with similar in the past i.e. James Turek of PLNI out of Kentucky. He was indicted on 8 counts of securities fraud and 4 counts of tax evasion. He is serving 18 years. I took the witness stand while the fock held his head down and couldn't look up at me while I testified. It's always "innocent until proven guilty" but if what the article says is true then these fucks should pay heavy fines and serve time. Blackburn is a convicted felon! Some might be simply accomplices while others could be orchestrators but the SEC states they all knew what was going on with unregistered shares, false PR'S, and promotional scams.
The SEC’s complaint charges Treaty Energy, Blackburn, Reid, Gwyn, Mulshine, and Schlesinger with securities fraud as well as violations of the registration and reporting violations of the federal securities laws. The SEC seeks disgorgement of ill-gotten gains with prejudgment interest plus financial penalties as well as penny stock bars, officer-and-director bars, and permanent injunctions against them. Reid and Gwyn are additionally charged with signing false certifications in Treaty Energy’s SEC filings, and Whitley is accused of securities registration violations.
