This really is good news. As noted, it was announced in June, but is sounds like this Green Earth Systems company is quite a go-getter in bringing to market new technologies. And from what I read following the links, they have decided that Quantum Materials can provide them the process and technology to deliver on a variety of new approaches. In other words, a great partner to have using what we can produce and put it to use in new and innovative applications.
Sounds like their goal is to have marketable products using quantum dots by 2015. Which means we will be supplying the products to make that happen. Most likely with a reactor and a license for its use and manufacture of the dots they need. Though not publicly announced, this is about the best we'll likely get until GES decides it is time to announce product availability. Perhaps, that will happen about same time as asian TV manufacturer announces use of QMC quantum dots in their next generation displays.
