NTEK has been and still is ahead of the curve when it comes to the delivery of secure 4k content. But, if there's still large scale beta testing going on they're likely to beta test their way behind the curve and out of the game. Like it or not, NTEK is a nickel pps company trying to break into the major leagues. They need to have a better product, which they have, and be able to bring it to market faster and more efficiently than anyone else, which so far hasn't happened in any large scale.
How many people remember Sony's Betamax? It was a better quality video than VHS but they lost for several reasons including the Sony engineers frittering away time while JVC and others forged ahead and brought their product, VHS video tape, to market faster with a longer running time albeit slightly lower quality tape. The rest is history.
