Thanks for the input - I was unaware of their ability to grow for a period of time previous to the licensing.
As for the CEN company changes, I don't see how that impacts the status of HC issuing a license. Private companies are applying for license and they don't have a BOD, so the vetting process/length of time should be immaterial.
As for the spinoff, restructuring, etc., away from Creative Edge and into its own namesake, I also don't see that as a function of obtaining the license. I'm not an expert on the HC requirements, but I seem to recall that in the application and other documents, that a company has to detail who the key personnel are in regards to the operations - this would be BC, head grower(s) and any other operational leader (not BOD). Cen Bio is not changing their name, location, key people, so I don't see how any of the publicly traded changes would impact the HC interface.
I've been through company changes going from British private equity to being bought by a publicly traded company in Sweden to being spun off as to our own entity on the Stockholm exchange in the past and our relationship with ISO did not change, nor did it require any significant work to keep our records updated - we simply kept them abreast of our company changes and when the next certification audit was performed, our name was changed on the documents. I understand that HC represents a different country, system, etc., but for the sake of keeping it simple, I don't see why a governing body would require a feedback loop of months for a name change when the key processes/personnel are all the same. (I may have just answered my own question - it's the government!)
