Why would BLTA be obligated to PR a test that did not pass and repairs are needed, then re-test?

Answer is, they are not.

Each step of the way to reach certification and the 1st flight with passengers, hick-ups can occur, which I've said before.

There is no SEC requirement to my knowledge that a fully reporting company has to blab things that did not go right the 1st time.

I worked for and sold electrical equipment for new construction, components for OEM's, every kind of infrastructure item that one can think of, for multi billion dollar companies that have manufacturing plants all over the world.

Our R&D Engrs would develop new products, in which extensive testing was required to meet UL, ANSI, CSI and ISA to name the biggies. We are talking public companies here trading on the NYSE. Never once did my employer put out a PR saying, "that widget we developed failed a critical test, so back to the drawing board we go. We'll update you when we fix the problem."

Above is not towards you...just my 2 cents concerning all the posts being discussed...it's a non issue and the company does not owe us squat.

Here's what counts..."as this PR is hitting the wires, passengers are on the way to St Pete...more later."
