Christine Ichim is, without a doubt, the icing to the cake here with an immense education in her field completed above and beyond. Article here from 2007 (a year before filing the patent) highlights her drive, purpose, and creativity in accomplishing personal AND research goals. I can relate to the adventurous side mentioned about her. I can gather she has a very relentless spirit/attitude toward the things she sets out to accomplish. Read for your self.
These kind of tidbits are worth posting because it shows a real good human side to the team this company is putting together.
This is evidence that these are REAL people coming on to very real success with a real company. And on the investment side of things, this a very real investment. I laugh when I read things that suggest it as a scam.
Any way, It seems, as she was a sunnybrook student at the University of Toronto, there may be the possibility of a connection to potential clinical trial or research at the Centre for Research in Image-Guided Therapeutics (CeRIGT) there, as they facilitate research in translational medicine/therapeutics.
