Don't get me wrong, you may be correct about it, I was just thinking out loud about what that could actually mean. What I want to know is how long we have to pick up more shares and still be vested in the spin-off.

I've heard it said the spinoff will be sooner rather than later because they have been working on the spin-off all year, but I don't see how that's possible when the BOD only just voted on a spinoff a week or two ago.

I've also read we may have 6 months or more before a spinoff occurs, but that would be a good thing if you're long since it gives us more time to accumulate at these basement bargain prices and still be sure of being vested in the spinoff shares. I tend to think this is the more likely scenario.
