Mr. Hand: I agree - what's so difficult to understand spinoffs. Each one is different and usually benefits the stockholder. Just a few examples, 2 companies that are doing spinoffs are HP and EBay (spinning off PayPal). the difference is we're a Pinky, but the concept is the same.
