Thanks Sharpi. I have read lasers' post, and am impressed by his knowledge of the drugs of abuse and problems of solutions, and certainly willing to believe the Purdue method can be beat. But, my feelings are mixed--on one hand, it seems to me that ELTP has the better mousetrap, on the other, in previous discussion with lasers regarding acetaminophen in opioid meds (vs. aspirin-based), he stated that most doctors don't know the difference, which I also believe. To that extent, my concern would be if doctors would realize the difference between ELTP's 2-bead solution vs. Purdue's solution? Purdue will gain first mover advantage here (at least on hydrocodone) so will be in doctor's hands and gain familiarity first, but ELTP may have the advantage of being a more effective ART and assuming a lower cost due to being a generic. Big enough market for a few players, so not a dire concern, but still some consideration must be given.
I remain fully unconcerned that the FDA did not give an "on the spot" answer, as that is the FDA way and what I personally expected. I did like that Nasrat noted the FDA was taken back by not having seen anything like it before. IMO, that was encouraging. If Nasrat is guilty of anything, it has been perhaps a bit of over-optimism of the timelines, but in bio, that's par for the course. A 6-mil share move like yesterday was clearly dumping by short-term flippers who were hoping to make a quick buck on a pop and not a meaningful sell-off due to non-news.
When I look back at the CC transcript (I was not able to get time to tune in live), what I do find intriguing was Nasrat's further emphasis on the undisclosed generics that he felt had significant potential but won't release from fear of bringing on unnecessary competition to what could (sounds like) something very lucrative. I also think the ART solution by ELTP is elegant and parsimonious; I have no intention of selling a single share at this point.
Twice before I held stocks that I did a ton of DD on, was convinced would take off and make a huge move, and bought a ton when was down. I bought boatloads of shares and options (5-year leaps). Thing is, I lost patience after a year or so, doubted myself and sold out. Those two opportunities as it turned out, both hit and had I had held, I would have been filthy rich and never had to have worked again in my life. While conversely, I am guilty of having fallen in love with one stock as well, only to ride it into the ground--here, I feel from lessons learned, that I do trust my DD, and am a strong believer in ELTP, but not blindly in love with it--but that said, with what I feel is a much more rational perspective, I see absolutely nothing in yesterday's call that changes my mind one iota about how I personally believe ELTP will emerge given some patience. I'm not going to be selling anytime soon, unless evidence emerges that leads me to a conclusion to the contrary.

Too many Vice Presidents, employees, consultants, for the miniscule revenue base though NH does have unlimited shares.

Yesterday the PPS did do a spectacular dive.
Speculation is good for the PPS but reality is bad.
Correct; NasRAT needs to stop doing CCs and PRs and let speculation that things are great drive the PPS up.
Mazeppa: Lasers addressed this this am; it didn't sound like a game changer: see #135593.
Elite is still early for the party. My only question is if Purdue or Elite has the better technology.

I don't know about the chart but I do know that ELTP has been lingering in and around the high .25 and very low .30s far longer than 2 to 3 weeks. The one exception was the .335 achieve in the hype up to the CC and look what happened to that one. Should we have celebrated .335 and the excitement of the FDA meetings?
So is Isradipine. At that pace we may see an opioid drug in a few years if at all. Just make sure the have the drugs to produce if and when approved otherwise tact another year to the target date. No funny but true.
