Aetna actually reported earnings of $1.79 per share on sales of $14.7 billion, beating EPS estimates by $0.21 and beating revenue estimates by $109.9 million. Since the company's report, shares of Aetna have risen from $77.23 to $83.81, representing a gain of 8.5% in the past 20 days.
