Research and Markets (http://www.researchandmarkets.com/research/sxqv86/heterogeneous) has announced the addition of the "Heterogeneous Mobile Processing & Computing Market by Component, Technology Node, Application, & Geography - Forecast & Analysis to 2014 - 2020" report to their offering. The Heterogeneous Mobile Processing and computing market is expected to reach $61.70 Billion by the end of 2020 at a CAGR of 20.75% The semiconductor industry in the past decade has seen the emergence of Heterogeneous Mobile Processing & computing technologies. This has been driven by the increasing demands of improved performance with enhanced functions by the electronic industry. HMP and computing utilizes different types of components like processors, digital signal processors, GPUs (Graphic Processing Units), connectivity solutions (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS),and software working together within a single chip to improve the overall performance of a device. There are many semiconductor and consumer-focused IC and systems companies, which are turning to HMP & computing design to gain a competitive advantage. HMP and computing is an improved technology than the previous homogeneous processing technologies; now different processors are being integrated on a single chip to perform a particular task. This has given rise to a new processing technique to revolutionize the semiconductor industry. Heterogeneous Mobile Processing is developing in different applications like consumer electronics, telecommunication, and medical science. The ability of heterogeneous mobile processing to integrate different components together is expected to play a vital role in evolving new processing techniques. The expansion of the market has inspired research and development in HMP associated technology by Integrated Device Manufacturers (IDM) as well as other material providers and assembly service providers. With this evolution of architecture technology during the last few decades, the trend for this technology in the next decade or two will be clear if we look at the future electronics market sectors such as consumer electronics, automotive, medical, and aerospace sector in semiconductor industry.
