Two weeks ago on October 28th, 2014 BP (NYSE:BP) reported earnings and analysts, on average, expected earnings of $0.89 on sales of $94.0 billion. The company actually reported a break-even quarter on sales of $93.9 billion, missing EPS estimates by $0.89 and missing revenue estimates by $103.0 million. Since the company's report, shares of BP have fallen from $42.84 to $40.94, representing a loss of 4.4% in the past 20 days.
