Nanomaterials scientist Krishna Kowlgi joins QMC

Quantum dot expertise will help in company expansion
Quantum Materials Corp (QMC) has announced that Krishna Kowlgi has joined the company as a nanomaterials process engineer. Kowlgi is an experienced entrepreneurial scientist specialising in analytical and physical chemistry with inventions and commercialised technologies in catalysts, engineered chemicals, colloids, fuel cells, material sciences, nanotechnologies, polymers and self-assembly.
"We are fortunate to have Krishna on board," said QMC founder and CEO Stephen Squires. "His expertise in quantum dot synthesis and scaling-up advanced materials production will be crucial as we continue to expand our specialised quantum dot manufacturing capabilities."
Previously, Kowlgi was a research engineer at Xelvin Zuid BV, in the Netherlands, driving the synthesis of semiconductor quantum dots in continuous-flow reactors. Prior to Xelvin, he served as director of technology at Minus9 BV.
