When in th' cotton fields it'd be sung "kum bah yah" for the 'Lawd' to Come by 'heah' ... a Moses, a Joshua, a Deliverer, that kinda thing. It's sad how this phrase has entered the political equation in demeaning disrespect of a heartfelt struggle.

But I understand how you meant it. Rather my comment was one in which our coarse society has redefined this as a kind of singing around the campfire in pretentious spiritual union.
