I have not and will not google it as it's an old negro slave spiritual, and I'm from the South. When in th' cotton fields it'd be sung "kum bah yah" for the 'Lawd' to Come by 'heah' ... a Moses, a Joshua, a Deliverer, that kinda thing. It's sad how this phrase has entered the political equation in demeaning disrespect of a heartfelt struggle.
But I understand how you meant it. Rather my comment was one in which our coarse society has redefined this as a kind of singing around the campfire in pretentious spiritual union.
Come to think of it, I think you're spot on in comparison with this dispirited board ... venomous ...
