So Emmett and Dan and I get to the restaurant. It's an Italian franchise . The place is totally empty. Emmett speaks. Dan looks at him and sees he is calling the waiter he seems to know. Emmett turns to me and says "We will have no trouble getting seated".
It's 12 :00 and there is no one in the place. Always a good sign . Surrounded by office buildings and no patrons . I can't wait.
Emmett instructs his friend we would like a table far from the crowd and in a corner where we can talk "BUSINESS". . I think I may have heard an Italian accent from Emmett. The waiter says "follow me sir".
He takes us to the far reaches of hell to the other side of the room. I have no feeling in my feet at any time (25 Chemo's) .
We get to the table for 20 and we park it.
Emmett says "Joe, Joe you have to taste this oil". Dan looks at him and me and he senses no passage of any inside information at this time. The waiter brings over some rolls and a saucer of oil.
"Emmett says JOE, JOE, try the oil. I said I will. I meant I will try the oil. Nothing sinister here.
The waiter seats a party of 10 right next to us. The kid who is banging on my booth has a runny nose..
Emmett says "JOE, JOE" I said Emmett I will try the oil but the waiter is waiting for our order. I start to order in Italian and Dan an Emmett are starring at me. I speak some more Italian and the waiter looks confused. He was from India.
I smell from running. I need a shower. I'll be back if the crackers let me.
WHILE IM GONE ORDER TELVUE STOCK AND TRY NOT TO RAISE THE ASKING PRICE
