Subject: RE: MMPR Licenses
Date: Thu, 30 Oct 2014 12:02:05 -0400
Hello,
Thank you for your interest in the MJ for Medical Purposes Regulations (MMPR).
Pleas note that, as per our below response, if an application is deemed to have completed each of the required processing steps and is in compliance with the MMPR, then a licence will be issued. Health Canada continues to improve their process for reviewing applications.
While the process is ongoing, the Privacy Act prohibits Health Canada from divulging information about applicants to third-parties.
Once a pre-licence inspection has been completed, if any deficiencies are identified, they will be communicated to the applicant and must be addressed. Once it has been confirmed through the pre-licence inspection and any necessary follow-up that the applicant meets all the requirements of the MMPR, a licence will be issued.
If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to send us your questions by email at MMPR-RMFM@hc-sc.gc.ca or call us at 1-866-337-7705.
