Thank you LawDogs, this is what I've been trying to say. CEN Biotech has invested heavily in this operation under the zoning in existence at the time. Not only that, Jim Shaban was solicited BY THE COUNCIL to build an MMPR facility on that specific site. The council knows the CEN Biotech facility will be allowed to remain on the existing property and function as it was originally intended. They are once again playing dumb in front of their constituency so they can appear to have complied with the adjacent property owners' wishes and avoid litigation with them. The question is how lengthy and costly the court decision will be. The idea of just moving to another town is inviable due to HC's licensing being site specific. If we abandon the Lakeshore property we will go to the back of the MMPR line losing all progress achieved to date. CB will stay on the present site and produce medical marijuana there.
