Quasar Prepares for Florida Vote

is proud to announce that since it has finalized the acquisition of Hydro-Grow Supply, Inc., we have been moving forward with getting ready for the unleashing of our brand and Ecommerce site. We are excited about the vote in Florida and fully support Ballot Initiative Amendment 2, which if passed tomorrow, will allow the medical use of marijuana for individuals with debilitating diseases as determined by a licensed Florida physician. In addition, caregivers may assist patients' medical use of marijuana. The Department of Health will register and regulate centers that produce and distribute marijuana for medical purposes and shall issue identification cards to patients and caregivers. A constitutional amendment sponsored by People United for Medical Marijuana obtained 754,613 signatures by January 24, 2014 (683,149 were required by February 1, 2014). The Florida Supreme Court ruled 4-3 in favor of allowing the initiative to be decided by voters on November 4, 2014. The support by Floridians seems to be enough to get it passed as the polls are showing a 60 to 80 percent support rate, depending on the source. With over $3.7 million checks to support the cause we are looking at an enormous green rush in Florida.
