I agree to a point but I saw many trades go above the ask today which were never logged and they still dropped the price even within areas of buying at the ask and even above the ask. So the MM's still control the price action and can only be stopped when being overwhelmed in which case they would ride the price up or down and make money along the way.
I seriously doubt that over 200mil threw in the towel today after having bought at .05 and above. I could be wrong but you have to admit that these markets are run on fear and greed as much as, if not more than fundamentals! That is what the mm's were doing today. Not saying there wasn't some selling but most of it was just mm's driving the price down and those same mm's will drive it right back up again.
Did you see that 13 mil by way above the ask at 15.10, another trade that wasn't logged, at least not on my trading platform!
