All of the positioning by the residents does not surprise me. This used to be an illegal recreational drug. Those notions of long haired hippies living of the teat of the government do not disappear over night. The noise gets the loudest when people realize that the big building down the street is going to be a huge mmj operation.
These people are taking one last attempt to either get out of dodge or get compensation for living near this beast. Once they realize that they will be sued this goes away. You will have a handful of residents that stay mad but politically the council looks to be in the corner of the constituency.
Everyone relax. This will pass. Bill made some miscalculations that we should all accept. CEOs make mistakes , we don't need to blindly defend Bill. Stay focused on the license.
