First, we will not have to go as far as litigation which I thought earlier that we might have to do. This will go to Windsor and bounce back to lakeshore like a ping pong ball. Lakeshore is out of line on this one and can't do what they propose.
Second, it all comes down to the people who live close to the facility pretending they had no clue. Like our lawyer said, they just want more money. So that said, I think they will have to make some choices on if to sell us a partial of land so they can build another house, or live with the neighbor from hell. That will be the choice.
As to the setbacks....nope. Not going to work. There is an approved 20 million dollar building setting there that they did agree to and they can not by law say.....opps, sorry guys. I has to remain what it was when they approved the site. And they did approve it.
Truthfully, the best way to settle all of this is to simply buy out all surrounding property's at a premium rate, tell them to have a nice day, and move on. Which will most likely occur when they figure out that the counsel duped them last night and now nothing will change for them. It was not presented to them that this was not going to affect the current building because they don't know that yet themselves, except for a couple there who got overruled.
I am pretty confident that we are good to go as soon as Windsor ok's the process. Then H / C can issue the License. JMO
