Not to fully bash the residents, as they at least

They see a multi-million dollar op come in, and they use it as a time to strike, make noise now for a possible payoff. Honestly who wouldn't???? It is agricultural, they voted it is industrial but regardless the main building is grandfathered in, other than that they complained about the looks. Then take that up with HC and their requirements. They wanted no fences, no security, lush landscapes, hills and trees...oh, and some windows! I get devaluing a home "possibly" but you think 4 or 5 people can destroy what could be huge and transforming to that area for jobs will stop it??
Bill and Co. don't want a fight, but they will defend. And there is so much info out there, they literally cannot lose. The argument about not knowing is invalid. I live in Florida, yet I knew more about their area than they did, they simply didn't care until they saw they could profit. I hope the plan is press forward, look for other towns, and one morning after we have been dominating for a year or 2, the people go in, find the doors locked, sign outside saying "Please see the local neighbors and council, tell them how YOU feel, we moved to a more co-operative town."
They even have it on file that they were sabotaging us, asking FITX to not go to council meetings to announce they want to halt the license, which I doubt is the reason why we are not yet licensed, again, I say it is that dumb injunction. 1 or 2 stoners wanting to grow low grade stuff to sell complained enough. Bill likes to work with people, if approached rationally and logically, he will oblige.
This is a brand new industry, the first one to ever go from highly illegal to nationally approved and regulated, there WILL be hiccups, Lakeshore is uncalled for, I am down for them upgrading their laws for the future, but you cannot change stance YOU signed off on and APPROVED TO BUILD and claim you never knew.It should have been voted down before the concrete was poured. The town thinks this sucks, wait until federal court orders them to pay up plus damages, the town may go bankrupt. because of 4 or 5 people.
