The specs were not approved by the town, only the construction meaning once part A was built, that was inspected to ensure part B could be safely added on, then Part C and so on. The fence permit was also approved, you are right. The town via their regulations approve construction yes.
The 6000 square feet would subtract the size of the vault for storage so you would have to have the rest of the area for drying, trimming, sorting, packaging, labelling and so on.
