If the new Lakeshore zoning regulations pertaining to MJ production under the MMPR are adopted as we see the draft written, EVERY APPLICANT will have to apply for a zoning amendment. That's what "site specific" means. The key component for us is whether or not we are grandfathered. If we are, as I believe, CEN Biotech will be permitted to sell product as soon as the license is issued. If we are not grandfathered, we will begin the zoning amendment process for our existing sites as well as the proposed facilities.
No zoning amendment requirements were in place at the time of CB's original permit application, they have proceeded under the zoning regulations in place to date. I believe that regardless of zoning changes we will be grandfathered and operational upon the issuance of the HC license.
