Kbad, I have thought about this some more. In reality the person to gain the most was the Mayor really. He wants this revenue source and eventually a job source. There has been opposition from the onset back in December of 2013 (councils minutes) from residents. Only now that time is drawing near for things to really happen has it come to a head. Contrary to what I have heard they want CEN there, they just didnt want to lose their seat defending it!
Some residence see their home or farm as their largest investment. Now they fear their investment will lose value due to the facilitys presents. I look at this as an indication that things are progressing, albeit not as fast as CEN's share holders would like!
