Thanks for a very well thought out post supported by solid data.
I think the question here is that the volume of shares entering the market over the Sept/Oct time frame shows declining retail support if comparing volume against the drop in PPS for the corresponding period.
This could be due to bid rigging or front-running however the question (in my mind anyway) is this. Does the volume traded make this activity profitable relative with the associated risk? For example, when shares were initially purchased at "X" then sold at "Y" is the difference between the purchase price and the sale price multiplied by quantity (which seems to by lacking) even make sense in the retail market unless shares were initially purchased at sub penny and if so, why sell at .034 -.0476 range at this point in time? (pre-license) unless the sellers are gambling that volume selling will drive PPS down prior to a license being issued.
I also agree with you that the 1billion+ shares that became eligible to enter the market in April/May are probably not the shares we see being sold. My point is this. I think a relatively small amount of shares entering the market can and does drive PPS down when there is not a lot of retail buying.
So who then is selling at these prices? Is it insiders selling off millions of shares for corporate capitalization or other ventures? Or is it a strategy to
cause a PPS drop prior to license so that maximum gain can be realized by buying at bargain basement pricing by manipulating the stock?
I certainly do not have the answers but looking at chart patterns it is very easy to see the last 8 weeks of buy/sell activity and its impact on PPS.
I do not think it is likely to hit sub penny again but I think we could see very low pricing as time goes on without significant occurrences.
For myself personally, I think the company has huge upside potential over the long term and I will be right there buying and holding. My plan is continued accumulation and I do not flip this stock.
