announced today that the company has become a member of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).
The decision to enroll is explained by Mr. Kristian Schiorring, CEO, Bioflamex Corp.:

Insights from a NFPA report covering data from 2003-2007 on Home Structure Fires inspired the development of Company's patent-pending Bioflamex aerosol extinguisher designed to enable better first response against fires in kitchens, typically in conjunction with frying oil or fats self-igniting.
The report from 2008 disclosed that approximately 40% of household fires could be traced back to the kitchen and especially cooking equipment.
The Bioflamex aerosol extinguisher has been calibrated to extinguish high temperature oils and fats, through utilizing the combination of a biological fire retardant and a thick foam cover, which effectively extinguishes the fire and prevents re-ignition. The fact that the product is in a 500ml canister with a special nozzle and pressure, makes it instinctively easy to use for virtually all consumer age groups.
The Company expects the Bioflamex aerosol extinguisher to account for up to 60 percent
of its global sales within the coming 5 years.
