The open house was open to anyone and everyone. We could have attended, but we weren't the intended audience. The point of the open house was to talk to the townies and try to address their concerns. The biggest point is that it was done with the council watching.
This whole charade may seem a bit off, but in reality, now that the townies have ALL had a chance to get their questions answered in an open format, the city council has every right to proceed with the Nov 4th amendment vote. To me, thats the issue and reasoning behind the open house.
Any information that we received through the video was nice to know, but not really pertinent to our investment.
While I love harping about the lack of information, I think that you're thinking too hard about what this whole open house was really about. In all honesty, I don't blame you or anyone else that doesn't see it like I do. The company, through Bill Swalm, repeatedly said it was an open house that we were encouraged to attend, with press and members of our top level management team there. There is an obivous communication issue there. That is a separate issue from the open house itself though.
Hope this makes sense.
