Had this question from long: One thing I do not get is all this talk about shorts. Never made any sense when stocks are sub penny and the premium to short makes no financial sense <-- you ask,
The answer is, What if an entity (ex employee, Hedge fund, Nss crews etc) What if they short a stock (sub penny) selling millions/tens of millions of phantom shares at .0014/5 down to .0009 etc and then they don't want to cover? The send in bashers claiming "Scam" "never getting IPO" "never going up" "banned in Canada -will be halted etc"
If a company can be driven out of business they don't have to cover, its all profit! get it?
They have done it before and will always try again imo.
