- The Port Board may have been influenced by the rantings and ravings of the resident blowhard from the other board, which may have contributed to the termination of the LOU.
- PVEI will have an opportunity to appeal the decision by the Board (per their bylaws) and address whatever statements the blowhard may have made, if they choose to do so.
In addition, it's unknown as to what the Port asked the company to provide from a capital perspective (i.e., a specific amount for the creation of the parking garage). If the Port was asking for more than the company felt comfortable in contributing, it's possible that the company said "no", which resulted in the LOU termination.
