Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers Launches AudioEye

TUCSON, AZ and BOSTON, MA--(Marketwired - Oct 23, 2014) - AudioEye®, Inc. ( OTCQB : AEYE ) ("AudioEye") ("the Company"), creator of the Audio Internet® patented audio browsing and automated publishing technology platform, today announced that its technology has been launched at www.massleague.org , the official website of the Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers. In the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, community health centers provide primary, preventive and dental care, as well as mental health, substance abuse and other community-based counseling services to anyone in need. Currently, 49 community health center organizations throughout Massachusetts provide high quality health care to some 889,000 state residents through more than 285 locations statewide.

"The first community health center in the nation was launched in Boston, Massachusetts almost 50 years ago to provide the broadest possible access for all residents seeking high quality health care," said James W. Hunt, Jr., President and CEO of the Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers. "The AudioEye publishing platform reflects that mission, promoting increased web accessibility for a wide variety of vulnerable populations searching for information about the availability of quality affordable health care in Massachusetts."

"Access to affordable healthcare is something that cannot be provided online without a solid accessibility strategy for the disabled," stated Nathaniel Bradley, Chief Executive Officer of AudioEye, Inc. "The adoption of our Audio Internet solution by the Massachusetts League of Health Centers allows our team to showcase a leading example of healthcare organizations embracing our technology in a growing number of states. This paves the way for our technology to be implemented broadly within one of the largest market verticals in the U.S."

Pioneers in the provision of patient-centered care, health centers work to screen, prevent and manage chronic diseases like diabetes, asthma, HIV/AIDS, cancer and depression; reduce low birth weights in newborns; and offer a range of programs and services that promote overall health and wellness in diverse and underserved communities.

Community health centers are becoming recognized as part of the solution for reducing health costs and ensuring quality health care in Massachusetts and across the nation. Staffed by board-certified physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, registered nurses, nutritionists, dentists and a range of other of medical and social service providers, community health centers excel at providing preventive care and chronic disease management in lower-cost community settings.

About Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers

Established in 1972, the Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers ("the League") is a non-profit, statewide association representing and serving the needs of the state's community health center organizations. The League serves as an Information Source on community-based health care for policymakers, opinion leaders and the media, and provides a wide range of technical assistance to its members.

Community health centers provide primary, preventive and dental care, as well as mental health, substance abuse and other community-based services to anyone in need, regardless of their insurance status or ability to pay. In Massachusetts, 49 community health center organizations provide high quality health care to some 889,000 state residents through more than 285 sites statewide. In addition to providing comprehensive health services to underserved people, health centers are at the leading edge of addressing some of the most vexing problems of our health care system, including facilitating access to health insurance coverage for low-income residents and eliminating health disparities between racial and ethnic populations.

In 1965, the nation's first community health center opened its doors in Boston, Massachusetts. Until that time, health services for low and moderate-income people in inner city areas and isolated rural communities were nowhere to be found. In response, community members organized around the need to bring primary care to their neighborhoods. Insisting that they have a voice in how and what care should be delivered to the community, boards of directors that included a majority of health center consumers were incorporated into the model. Today, health center patients continue to drive the mission and work of community health centers.
