Ebola is nothing. People are getting too excite

People are getting too excited over the ebola potential of the N-Assay(v) and the PR about ebola detection. The reality is that this is just a temporary, fear-induced bump in publicity.
If the tech is used for ebola detection, even if it is used widely, we are not looking at that much of a market. In a month or two the ebola headlines will be gone, just as every other time there has been an outbreak in the recent past.
The real story here is that the n-assay can be used for viruses at all. If we get a system of detecting basically any pathogen desired, whether bacteria or virus (maybe even prions, who knows?), then we will be much better off than anything ebola can bring.
The best case scenario here is that somebody (or a bunch of somebodies) following the ebola headlines has now heard of Nanologix and will be looking into the company for a much bigger market.
I think the press with regard to ebola will pay off, but not for ebola detection. There is a much larger need out there than just a single highly deadly disease.
