Solarflare Strengthens Distribution in Canada With Storageflex Agreement

IRVINE, CA--(Marketwired - Oct 22, 2014) - Solarflare, the leader in application-intelligent 10/40 Gigabit Ethernet (10/40GbE) technology, today announced they have completed an agreement with Storageflex Inc. that will serve to deliver customers in Canada with improved access to Solarflare products.

Storageflex's channel network in Canada will play an important role in meeting the needs of companies in the Canadian market. With over 1,000 customers worldwide, the establishment of key distribution relationships is critical to Solarflare's aggressive global growth plans.

"This important agreement is all about meeting customer needs. No other company delivers as broad and deep a spectrum of technology and supply chain services to businesses as Storageflex", said Paul Chan, CEO of Storageflex. "Solarflare provides unique, advanced technology that is being increasingly deployed by major companies, which makes this agreement especially significant for us."

"We view this relationship with Storageflex as an important step in further growing our presence in the Canadian market. We've always viewed the region as important to our long-term success as a technology leader." said Tim Dales, Director of Worldwide Channels, Solarflare. "We're seeing tremendous growth of deployments in burgeoning markets like Content Delivery Networks, Public/Private Clouds and Virtualized environments. So it makes perfect sense to take advantage of Storageflex's channel coverage and support to keep pace with this growing customer demand."
