Microgaming Selects Netuitive to Monitor Performance of Large Gaming Platforms

RESTON, VA and LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwired - Oct 20, 2014) - Netuitive , a leading provider of IT analytics, and Microgaming the world's largest provider of online gaming platforms (such as Casino, Poker, Sports betting, and Bingo), today announced a software licensing agreement that will deliver Microgaming an advanced platform to provide insight into the performance of the gaming platforms it develops, hosts and maintains on behalf of Microgaming's licensees.

Under terms of the agreement, Microgaming is deploying Netuitive to monitor performance of key applications across Casino products for more than 120 casino operators and over 600 software titles.

Netuitive's IT analytics solution will analyze and correlate data and business metrics from 10 Microgaming monitoring tools to provide a holistic view of performance and availability of key applications for online banking, login, game play, and player registration.

Microgaming developed the first true online casino in 1994. Developer of thousands of unique, genre-defining Casino, Mobile, Poker, Bingo and Land-based games, Microgaming hosts the largest Progressive Jackpot Network in the world. Its products include Live Dealer, Sportsbook, Business Solutions and Quickfire.

With an emphasis on optimizing gaming platform performance and availability globally, Microgaming recognized the need for an automated IT analytics solution that could provide a single view for end-to-end visualization enabling Microgaming to take a much more proactive approach to alert only on IT and business anomalies that might impact gaming performance.

As part of a paid proof-of-value trial engagement, Microgaming deployed Netuitive and tested the solution by consuming a variety of monitoring data from a selection of existing monitoring systems encompassing infrastructure, application and business metrics.

With a goal of rapid operational adoption, Netuitive's Professional Services team worked closely with Microgaming to deploy a solution featuring an innovative integration with Graphite, a powerful tool that deals with storing time-series metrics. Netuitive also delivered its very powerful graphing interface for visualizing and reporting on gathered metrics. After four weeks and demonstrable ROI, this announcement represents Microgaming's agreement to put Netuitive into production.

"As we expand our footprint as the world's largest provider of gaming platforms, we are focused on achieving and maintaining the highest levels of service and availability," said Andy McDonald, a spokesperson for Microgaming. "As large gaming platforms continue to grow in capabilities and complexity, only through effective use of advanced IT analytics can we take a proactive approach to identifying and isolating problems."

"In the world of high stakes online gaming, service performance and financial applications are truly mission critical," said Bob Farzami, CEO of Netuitive. "We are proud to provide the world's largest online gaming platform provider with an IT analytics solution that will have direct and positive impact on the performance of Microgaming's licensees and ultimately offer a heightened player experience."
