It is very cool that we are talking about hemp today. Being from KY that has been a large focus of the state for the last year or more. Basically we are in the process of trying to figure out how to make it a viable crop for farmers to replace corn and soybean production. I have had the privilege of attending a few seminars on the subject, and was present for the 1st hemp harvest in KY in 40 some odd years. Below is a link to one of the primary economic studies on hemp for the state if anyone is interested in some light reading. Obviously not applicable in every aspect, but extremely informative in regards to hemp farming, and even has info in there about the hemp industry from a global perspective including Canada.
