Forcibly maintaining a (positive) dialogue of the same info is nearly as bad as the bashers' tactic of keeping a sustained interaction that is negative. And of course, it is easier for the bashers because they have the convenience of creating fiction whenever and however they choose.
For me, stating the same facts and positive opinions repeatedly is tiresome. I'm not against reminding people of everything positive about the Company, but without new info, too much of it comes off as desperate and 'pumpy' regardless of the different ways the information is presented. How effective would Mach's posts be if he regurgitated the same facts and opinions, no matter how excellently written? Much better to keep highly repeat worthy posts as 'stickies' and used as reference to potential investors.
The advantage of this board is that people interested in the Company can get facts and information about it without reading thru a huge pile of crap that is the norm on Yahoo. The opinions are largely skewed positive, but that seems right to me given what we know about the Company. Sure there are things to be concerned about and discussed, but similar to what was stated about positive opinions, repeatedly bringing up all the same shortcomings of the Company without new justification comes off as bashing.
Mits: I appreciate the fight that you do at Yahoo. Its a crapfest and as such requires a willingness to indulge in dispensing and receiving crap. I've done my time there and found it to be useless with respect to defending the share price. My only concern with Yahoo is that potential investors will be put off not because of the lies that are prevalent there, but out of frustration of having to filter thru the trash for the info they are seeking. I hope they are able to find their way to this board. With all the attention the Company is getting due to the ebola PR, there should be a post near the top of the Yahoo MB referring to this board at all times.
