$HPNN Hong Kong Electronics Fair Hop-On, Inc. Launches Services for Chinese Factories

Worlds Largest Electronics Marketplace Hop-On Focuses on Wearable Technology and Consumer Electronic Goods

Oct 14, 2014 (eTeligis.com via COMTEX) -- HONG KONG, China, via ETELIGIS INC., 10/14/2014 - - Hop-On, Inc. (otc pink:HPNN) (pinksheets:HPNN) Hop-On is currently present at the Hong Kong Electronics Fair Autumn Edition show at the booth CH-E18. The show is well attended by over 4,100 Chinese ODM and OEMs exhibitors looking to expand in the US and EU markets.

Hop-On is focused on servicing Chinese ODM and OEMs towards market entry requirements for America's and European markets. Our services cover conceptualizing of better and more innovative products, licenses, patent registrations, logistics, support and obtaining retail supply agreements. At the Fair we are confirming that these are clearly weak points for the vast majority in the Chinese electronics industry.

While the Chinese electronics industry excels in low cost, high volume manufacturing, the industry is still far behind when it comes to getting innovation onboard. The industry lacks the process and support to get their inventions monetized through obtaining patents or entering into licenses. Hop-on is combining their staff's deep experiences in creating innovative products that match consumer expectations in America and Europe with our equally vast experiences in turning innovations into patents and valuable license agreements.

Hop-On's approach will include the concept of "Open Innovation" where we can effectively bridge Chinese electronics manufacturers with leading and typically more innovative component and software vendors. In today's world, buying off-the-shelf components and software is often yielding no effective differentiation. The Open Innovation approach seeks earlier involvement in defining the critical components and software to accommodate new ideas and the need for differentiated products.

Peter Michaels, CEO of Hop-On stated, "China OEM and ODM business is not about copying other people's IP not as much as before. The new opportunities we are now experiencing is that the factories are now coming up with their own IP and need US and EU patent protection.

Hop-On is focused on companies producing smart wearables, tablets and other new innovative consumer devices involving the Android operating system for a number of good reasons. Foremost, our recently signed agreement with Microsoft concerning Android and Chrome licenses enables us to offer a unique package to partner with vendors to make products compliant with the license terms necessary to gain access to the major retailers worldwide. Additionally, with Android being the all dominating operating system reaching more than a billion units sold globally this year (Gartner's forecast is 1.17 billion) we are exactly at the right timing for turning our Android license package into successful business solutions.
